Q: Hello,
I have been working for a company for more than 3 years, then I got selected for a new job. The new company requested me to resign and requested for the cancellation asap. They have given me the offer letter at the start which is signed by both.
I manage to resign without serving my notice period so I didn't get my gratuity and I have given them all the documents and the cancellation required for the process of my new visa.
Today it's more than one month and no visa processed yet. I have consumed all the legal days of staying in the UAE. And yesterday I called them and simply they said that they don't have money to process my visa.
Is there anything I can do about this? I was having a happy life here. Now I lost my job and I have no more time to stay, I start to have penalties for my staying in Dubai.

What to do if employer delays your visa issuance

Q: Dear Sir, I am an Endodontist Dentist from India. I got offer letter on 29 July 2016. The HAAD licence for a specialist dentist was complete on 14 October 2016.
I contacted my employer regarding employment visa but every time he gave me an excuse! Now is 23 January 2017 till now there is no proper response from the employer about the employment visa.
How should I move out of the situation? What legal procedures can I follow so that the employer either get me employment visa or let me move out to search any other job without getting work ban?
Kindly help me in the situation.

Can I claim compensation if my employer refused to provide me with a visa?

Q: I live in the UK and have AED 60,000 of debt in the UAE from when I lived there 2 years ago. I receive letters all the time from a debt collection agency in the UK and today I received an email from the bank entitled 'Amnesty Offer' (although I'm not sure what that means)
I have no assets and no regular income, therefore, they can't get anything out of me at the moment. However, I would very much like to get this sorted, perhaps by paying off a fraction of the outstanding amount as a lump sum to settle the debt.
I would like to know if I can sue my previous employer as they are the reason I had to leave Dubai, and the reason I ended up jobless. They headhunted me, offered me a job in their company but then refused to issue me with a visa. They also gave me a fake employment contract.
I planned to stay in Dubai my whole life, but their actions meant I had to return home, with no job and no money. It is grossly unfair and I would like compensation.

How can I clear my overstay fines and come back to find a job in the UAE?

1
Q: Hello,
I would like to know the difference between overstay clearance and outpass. I am worried a company put me into overstay for 60 days but refused to give me an employment visa. All they told me is they're going to get me overstay clearance.
Understanding this situation, can I come back to the UAE and find another job or get a visit visa and look for a job again?
Hope to hear from you.
Thank you

Hello,
Can an employer post an employee's photo on social media, LinkedIn or Instagram, without the employee's consent?
Secondly, the employer is forcing the employee to update the company details in the employee's profile.
I believe LinkedIn and Instagram are personal profiles and one cannot be forced to update the details. This photo was taken in the office.

View allLandlord is evicting me for renovation. When must he show proof? 0
Dear Sir/Madam,
My landlord had originally said that I could stay in the villa during the minor renovation (inside) and construction of a new building outside.
He put it in writing and agreed that the tenancy value of the property would not increase significantly for two years based on these improvements.
I then received an eviction notice due to renovation. I have lived in the same villa for 18 years. My question is:
At what point does the landlord need to have the attested Dubai Municipality report to show that the planned renovation makes the property uninhabitable, as this has not been shown anywhere yet?
