How can I remove an absconding case if I have another job offer?

I have a resident visa in the UAE. I did not finish the contract with my sponsor but he put me absconding on me.

I did not run away from my sponsor but I went to my accommodation because I was a victim of crossing the country with an agent. My agent sold me to an agency and took my money.

My problem now is my visa has already expired and my employer put on me an absconding case. My visa has now expired and I have also asked for help clearing documents.

But the clearing documents say tomorrow and tomorrow because my sponsor doesn't want to cancel my visa. What should I do if my sponsor doesn't cancel me and remove absconding?

I have one company willing to help me, give me a new visa, and willing to give me an offer letter also.

Help me, what should I do? Because I don't want to get too much fines.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question, I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist with this matter.

If you're facing an absconding case in the UAE and your visa has expired, first try to communicate with your current sponsor to resolve the issue.

Request visa cancellation to clear the absconding status. If your sponsor is uncooperative, contact MOHRE.

If another company is offering a new visa, ensure it complies with UAE labor laws. Avoid accumulating fines, and stay in touch with immigration.

For any further legal assistance, you can WhatsApp us. We have an extensive team of knowledgeable and experienced lawyers to provide the legal assistance you need.

We will definitely be happy to help you.

Thanks & Regards

Sir,

The company which is willing to give me a new visa was legal but my problem is my sponsor who doesn't want to cancel me even though my visa has already expired.

I have a 30-day grace period for that after expiry. What should I do?

You have two options.

The first is to settle it with the employer to submit a request to cancel, this is the strongest solution.

The second is to submit a request to cancel it with a mercy or pardon request, it’s not a strong solution to cancel but you can try.

Well, you should go for court mercy if you cannot pay a fine.

Try to reduce your fine first of all then join a new employer. After settling matters, try to take any legal action against your agent.
