Questions & Answers
Do I have to pay visa costs if I quit my job in Dubai after getting my Emirates ID?
Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently joined a company and got my Emirates ID the day before yesterday.
I don't like the way my employer treats me and I want to quit my job.
Do I have to pay any visa costs?

Hi,
Yes, if you are quitting and joining some other company, you will be liable to pay hiring costs to your employer.
Dear Client,
Thanks for your question! I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you in this matter.
If you've just started your job and have received your Emirates ID, you may still be in the probationary period, which typically lasts for six months in the UAE.
During this time, you or your employer can terminate the contract with a shorter notice period.
Check your employment contract for the notice period during the probation period. Typically, during this time, there may not be significant financial penalties for resigning.
