What to do if the employer is asking for money to cancel the visa?

Hello sir,

I have been working in a private company in Dubai for 5 months. The company is not good.

I asked them to cancel my visa, but they asked for money, more than 5,000 dirhams.

What can I do now?

If your employer is asking for money to cancel your visa, it is illegal.

Dear Questioner,

If you are going to join another company, then the new employer may compensate the former one for the recruitment expenses unless the previous employer has not accepted your resignation.

If he accepts then you can leave.

Dear Questioner,

Simply serve one month's notice to your company, find another employer, and join.

Your ex-employer will automatically cancel your visa. And the ex-employer has no right to ask for money.
