What to do if I want to resign before the expiry of my contract?

Hello Sir,

I want to resign from my company. I have a contract for 2 years but I am not done serving 2 years.

Now I am done with only 1 year and six months. What is the process?

You must give one month's notice when submitting your resignation letter and be willing to work during the notice period.

Dear User,

You have to send a resignation letter and make sure to serve the notice period required.

For example, if the notice period stipulated in your contract is one month, you have to send the resignation letter one month prior to the date you wish to resign.

You can resign from the job after serving the notice period according to your employment contract.

Dear Client,

Thanks for your question, I hope you are doing well. I will definitely assist you with this matter.

To resign before completing your 2-year contract in the UAE, review your contract for the notice period required, then submit a formal resignation letter.

Serve the specified notice period (typically 30 days), discuss the decision with your employer for a smooth transition, and complete all exit formalities.
