Entry ban to UAE: Can I travel to other GCC countries?

Dear Sir/Madam,

I may have an entry ban to the UAE. Can I travel to other GCC countries?

Also, can I transit through Dubai Airport?

Having a travel ban in the UAE will not affect your travel to other GCC countries, but it is not recommended to transit through UAE, as you may be taken for questioning and stopped from leaving the UAE.

I think I have only an entry ban, not a travel ban. I heard there is a difference.

Entry ban may occur due to being deported from the country, and depending on the reason of deportation, it may affect your ability to receive employment or residence status in other GCC countries.

Normally, the ban imposed in one country has an effect only within the country itself.

Maybe there will be an issue while you transit via Dubai Airport.
