Eviction notice served by previous owner: Is it still valid?

Dear Sir/Madam,

Why do legal experts have different responses on the validity of eviction notice upon the sale of the property?

Some suggest that the new owner needs to serve a new 12-month notice, while others suggest that the validity of the notice served by the previous owner continues.

Shouldn't all lawyers have the same response to this?

Dear Sir/Madam,

According to the law, you don't need to give him a notice as it was already served by the previous owner.

On top of that, it is not out of legal logic that you don't have any agreement with that tenant beyond the fact that he will evict the property by the end of the 12-month notice the previous owner gave.

And if he did not, then you will file a court case and evict him by force.

It's because of the reason that sometimes the notice sent by the old landlord didn't meet the requirement, then the notice will be irrelevant.

On such an occasion, the new landlord has to serve a new notice of eviction.

The new owner has to emphasize only the past legal notice served by the old owner.

No.

Law issues are not only legal texts, there are applications in courts.

Some of them are based on an application from a court, some of them are based on another application, and some of them are based only on texts.
