Q: Hi Sir,
Unfortunately, we lost our elder brother, sister in law and 8-month-old baby boy in a road traffic accident on 13th Sept. 2019. One baby girl who survived the accident was critical with traumatic injuries and multiple skull fractures.
This accident took place at Haima, Sultanate of Oman while the family was on the way back home to Dubai.
The baby girl was undergoing treatment in Khawla Hospital, Muscat, Oman, from 15th Sept to Jan 9th. After which we have airlifted her to India for further treatment.
Now, I need to apply for a claim for 3 deaths and 1 claim for the kid as the hospital authorities have issued a disability certificate with 100℅ disability.
He was holding insurance from an Insurance Company. He had a comprehensive insurance policy (Orange Card) which covered both Oman and Qatar.
It's been more than one and a half year now as we were busy with the kid's treatment. Can we please discuss the same further?
I can be reached on the below numbers.

We had an accident. Can I claim the treatment costs paid to hospital from the insurance?

1
Q: My family and I had an accident. The incident occurred the very next day of their arrival in the UAE on a residence entry permit and their visa//health insurance was still in process.
With gods grace, everyone was discharged from the hospital on the 3rd day after many tests and keeping us under observation. We were slapped with a hefty bill as my family was not holding any health insurance.
What are the chances that I could claim the medical expenses through the vehicle insurance, as it covers co-passengers as well?

Traffic accident issue
2
Q: I was looking to seek some legal advice regarding my case. I had a traffic accident that has been referred to the traffic court. No one else was involved or injured just me. My car crashed into a post. I am also fine, my car is not. I was taken to hospital but left of my own accord and went to the police station the next day. There are some other mitigating circumstances but I would rather discuss these privately. Please contact me if you can help. Many thanks.

Can car lift companies prevent me from switching between them?

1
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I am using the services of a car lift "A" company, and the services they provide are not okay. The van is overloaded, with some passengers already standing up.
So, I decided to transfer to another car lift "B" company. Now, they're not allowing me to do so because they say, as per the agreement with the other car lift company, they agreed not to provide service to passengers from car lift A, and vice versa.
What about passengers' rights to choose which company they want the service from?

Is a bounced rent cheque case considered a criminal record for U.S. visa applications? 0
Hello,
My rent cheque was bounced, and my landlord filed a case against me in Sharjah Court. I received a fine of 2,000 AED, which was later reduced to 1,000 AED upon appeal.
Does this case count as a criminal conviction under UAE law, or was it handled as a civil matter?
