Claiming entitlements upon resignation for delayed salaries
Hello all,
I was working under an unlimited contact on an LLC company for about a year in Abu Dhabi. Since I started working, I haven’t got paid on time.
So after a year, I resigned from the company by emergency resignation whilst I had 2 months' pending salaries.
Now it’s been 49 days since I submitted my resignation and my company is delaying my payments, though my work permit has already been cancelled by them.
So can anyone give some advice to take further actions?
I’m currently staying on my notice period, so is it ok to file a case against them? Will it take longer?

First, file a case immediately that you did not receive your dues.
WHILE CASE IS PENDING
Please make an application to grant you the relevant permission.
STEP 1 - request the court to provide you with a certificate stating that you have a labour case pending before the court.
STEP 2 - Please apply to the Ministry of Labour to grant you permission to work temporarily which will be for six months. Attach the court certificate with the application related to the temporary work permit before the Ministry of Labour. This may grant you the temporary work permit.
STEP 3 - Approach the residency department to extend the visa so that you are not fined for overstay. Then approach the office of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (the "Directorate") and present the authorization letter from the court along with the documents pertaining to your labour dispute and the subsequent litigation issued by the Ministry of Labour to justify the overstay in the event the visa has expired. THIS IS A MUST.
