Q: My employer wants me to sign a cancellation form without paying any pending salary and dues. The total outstanding amount is 33000 AED.
I refused to sign the cancellation papers and filed a labour case against him. I have a job offer from another company.
What is the procedure for me to join another company?
My first hearing is due on 29th December; what happens in the first hearing?
Should I wait until 29th December or should I contact the Ministry again for the cancellation?
I strongly believe my employer will not attend the hearing. I need to cancel my visa and start working again for the new company.
Please advise.

Cancellation of visa and claiming dues to work with new employer

Q: I am working in a free zone company in Dubai, they haven't paid me for past 2.5 months.
Now, I have got another job but I fear they won't be paying my pending payment and end of service settlement before my visa cancellation.
However, to join the new company I need to cancel this visa and proceed for a new visa for working in their company.
Could you give me advice on how to proceed, as I understood if I am going for legal action I can't cancel my visa with this company?

My visa expires on 3rd, April 2023, and I have already resigned from my job for another offer. My notice period of 30 days is completed, but my employer has not given me any response.
I am asking for my cancellation to join the new company, but my current company is not proceeding with the cancellation process.
What should I do now?

Ministerial Decree No. (766) of 2015 On Rules and Conditions for Granting a Permit to a Worker for Employment by a New Employer 3
By this Decree Ministry of Labour of the UAE has removed the six-month labour ban for those who changed the job before completing two years of service. Labour ban will be still applicable for workers that qualify for skill level 4 and 5 under various circumstances.

أعمل في شركة في العين مند ثلاث سنوات ونصف "منها سنة وعشرة أشهر إقامة تابعة للشركة" وما تبقى كنت أعمل بالإعارة من شركة أخرى. راتبي في عقد العمل 500 درهم ولكن راتبي الفعلي 2500 درهم.
هل يحق لي المطالبة قانونًا على حسب الراتب الفعلي؟
وهل فترة العمل بالإعارة تدخل ضمن أيام المستحقات؟
علمًا بأنني أستلم راتبي بشكل مباشر بإيصال قبض من الشركة، وراتب العقد (500) أستلمه بنكيًا أو عبر فروع الأنصاري.

It turned out to be a fault in the building's construction, which caused condensation in the false ceilings. When the panels were demolished, it was found that they were all full of mold.

New owner in Dubai with no Ejari and previous tenant: What are his rights? 0
Dear Sir/Madam,
I recently purchased a studio flat in Dubai that was previously tenanted under a Tenancy Contract from November 2022 to November 2023.
However, there is no registered Ejari to establish a tenant-landlord relationship in the Dubai Government record.
The previous landlord had given the tenant a year's notice to vacate the flat, which was given six months ago. Now that I have purchased the flat, I have asked the tenant to replace the cheques, but she has refused to cooperate.
Can you please advise me on whether I am obligated to continue the Tenancy Agreement signed by the previous owner, given the absence of an Ejari?
Alternatively, when can I tell her to vacate the flat, or do I have to wait until November 2023?
Secondly, I would like to know if I need to serve the tenant with an eviction notice again to vacate the flat. If so, for how long is the remaining period valid, or do I need to issue a new eviction notice of one year?
