What to do when employer doesn't cancel contract after notice period?

My visa expires on 3rd, April 2023, and I have already resigned from my job for another offer. My notice period of 30 days is completed, but my employer has not given me any response.
I am asking for my cancellation to join the new company, but my current company is not proceeding with the cancellation process.
What should I do now?

The employer must cancel the work permit of his employees at the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and cancel the visa through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs.
Also, the employer must obtain a work permit cancellation letter signed by the employee and an undertaking from the employee that he has received all dues and wages.
So, I want to know if you signed the work permit cancellation and all the relevant details.
