Harassment by a husband

Q: Salam,
I am in need of great help, I am asking my question through my sister as I don't have access to my phone or internet.
I am born an brought up in Dubai, and I am married with three kids and stay in Sharjah now.
I am going through a lot of stress because of my husband. He threatens to hit me, he locks me up with my kids and goes to the office, he even took away my phone so I cannot contact my family, he asked me to cut off all the ties with my family members and they are also not allowed to meet me.
He has installed a camera at home to keep an eye on me, he also had an affair with an Indonesian female, he threatens to send me to Pakistan with my kids, I really don't want to go there as my whole family is here.
My family cant help me because their financial condition is not very stable. My husband wants me to leave him so that he will not have to pay any alimony for me and my help.
I have had a lot of health issues, I really need some help, I feel I will die due to depression.

Filing a divorce case for domestic violence
0
Q: I am looking for legal advice on divorce in the UAE.
I am Belarusian non-Muslim and my husband is Tunisian Muslim. We have 1.5-month-old daughter Belarusian citizen. The marriage contract was made in Tunisia and legalised in Tunisia, the UAE and Belarus.
The father is mentioned in the daughter's birth certificate. Since September, I stayed in Belarus and I am here with a daughter now.
In April, I am travelling for the UAE visa validity (6 months) just for a week and coming back to work in July from maternity leave.
I want to file for divorce as my husband had aggressive behaviour towards me, was physically violent 3 times during my pregnancy and abused me verbally.
He also refused to support me while pregnant, and since August 20th, 2017, I was not able to work and I had no source for living while paying AED 5460 loan monthly, that was the reason of leaving back to Belarus for maternity.
Can you please advise if my husband can ban my daughter while coming in April on a tourist visa? Also, what is the actual procedure to file a divorce in my case?

Claiming the marriage certificate from abusive husband
1
Q: NRI approached me on a matrimonial website saying he was divorced and showed me a paper in Arabic, then married me in 2015 in India.
Later, I realised he was waiting for divorce when I questioned him as I came to know, and he convinced me that he will register my marriage soon.
Now, it's been 2.5 years since his divorce, in which I went through a lot of struggle to keep this marriage but he intends to cheat and desert me.
I am also working in Dubai now and living with him Sharjah in the same flat. With a lot of struggle, I made him take me as he married me but I know he plans to throw me out forcefully knowing that there's no marriage certificate.
I just have all videos and my marriage picture with him. If he does cheat me after living for close to 2.5 years both in India and in Dubai, can I file criminal proceeding?
He says I can't do anything without marriage papers here, and he lied and spoiled my life and my future. Will I get my justice?
Please guide me, I'm not rich to fight my justice. Please save me.

Filing a divorce case due to extramarital relationship
0
Q: I am an Indian married woman staying with my husband and son in Abu Dhabi for the last 10 years. My son and I are on husband's visa.
Last year in September, I discovered that my husband has been cheating on me, at least, since the past 2 years or more. I have evidence from his phone.
He has accepted his wrongdoings and admitted everything in front of my father and me and has promised to change. However, I've completely lost trust in him.
There were times when I suspected his actions and asked him directly but he refused and always said that I should try finding proofs.
He also called my sister once to tell her that I was nagging and doubting him. Probably he was playing safe. But since his actions have surfaced up, he projects that he has changed for good.
I do not believe him a bit. This has affected and traumatized me to a great extent that I had to seek medical advice from a psychiatrist and it has affected my son too.
How can I file a divorce in the UAE?
Please advise.

The right to file divorce case for harassment by husband

1
Q: Salaam,
I'm an Indian expatriate living and working in the UAE since June 2018. Got married on 5th September 2019 in Dubai under the Sharia law. My husband works in Dubai. I work in Ajman. We live in Ajman.
My husband & his family have been harassing me for gold & money from the first day of marriage. He has been exploiting me physically, emotionally & financially.
I have been paying for everything including rent & groceries & even sending monthly expenses to his family in India. His brother in law and sister have been harassing me to apply for a loan to give them the money.
I have been used emotionally and physically for pleasure and financially to bear the expenses of his family through my salary. Today he packed up his stuff & left the house saying that we can't live together anymore.
I want to file a complaint against him & his family for physical & mental torture & for demanding gold & money.
Please advise.

What are the precautions a wife needs to take before requesting divorce?

3
Q: I'm a Zimbabwean woman married to a Nigerian man for 5 years. We have been living in Dubai for a little over a year.
I would like to divorce my husband as there are extreme irreconcilable issues. We have a son who is 4 years old with special needs. I'm a stay at home mum and have dedicated my every being in raising him since he was born.
I would like advice as to how to proceed with a divorce in the UAE. My husband is a man with a short and sometimes violent temper. If I file for divorce and still live with him I fear for what would happen.
Is it against the law to leave with my son to a safe place (a friend's place/rent a place temporarily) as soon as I have filed?
I have no intention of denying the father access to his son, every son needs his father, despite our differences. I just want to avoid a messy situation that my son could possibly witness.
What measures can I take to ensure my son and my safety without breaching the law or damping my chances as his custodian?
