Did the landlord give you a notice of non-renewal before the end of the contract?

13 Feb 2023, 06:30

They gave us an eviction letter in August 2022. The contract expired on 23.01.23.

On November 22, the owner changed and wants us to vacate immediately.

The rental relationship does not end with the sale, so you can stay until the end of the eviction notice period in August 2023.

Thank you!

Since the landlord is refusing to give us the contract and the old one is expired, besides the offer and deposit at RDC (that has been approved by the judge), do we need to do any other action or just wait?

Wait.

Hi P.

You need to notify your landlord in writing to for renewing the contract.

And at the same time keep RDC notified about the no response from the landlord about the non-renewal of the contract.

13 Feb 2023, 10:50

Thank you.

We sent the landlord many emails asking for the contract and informing him about the readiness of the cheques.

RDC approval was attached as well. All communications were ignored.

How to inform RDC about no response from the landlord?

Thank you

13 Feb 2023, 11:57

You will have to visit the RDC and file a complaint about the same.
