The labor dues upon employment termination before the expiration of the visa

Dear Sir/Madam,

Good morning, I hope you are doing well!

I came across legaladvice.com while browsing the internet. I have been working with my company for over 11 years, but my direct superior recently informed me that my contract will not be renewed for the 2023-2024 school year.

I will only be serving the school until the end of the current school year, 2022-2023. Is this correct?

My visa is set to expire in January 2024. Do I need to submit a resignation letter? What will happen to my gratuity?

Will I be paid for the remaining months before the expiration of my visa?

I would greatly appreciate it if you could provide clarification and assistance with my concerns.

Dear questioner,

Do not submit your resignation as it will impact your end-of-service gratuity.

The bonus is calculated based on your total last salary as of March 2022 if your services are terminated by the school administration.

It does not affect it, but if you submit your resignation, it will be calculated on the basis of salary excluding allowances.
