An absconding report against an employee for not reporting to work for 7 days
Dear sir/madam,
One of our employees has not reported to work for 7 consecutive days and we are unsure of any whereabouts.
Can we file an absconding report?
What are the fees and implications for the employer?
Do we need to pay WPS and gratuity if the employee returns?
The employee has been working with the company for over a year now.

Dear questioner,
Adhere to submitting an absconding report once per sponsored person.
Be aware that the report cannot be canceled after twenty days from the date of issuance, and that the establishment must be in existence and the worker must be on the job at the moment of escape or absence from work.
