Questions & Answers
I have received a job offer from a company in Fujairah. How to know if it's real?
I have received a letter of appointment from a company in Fujairah via mail without any interview, neither personal nor telephonic.
The selection has been based on my CV posted in one of the leading job portals in India and I am based in Bangalore, India.
The company has asked me to contact a Travel Agency in Dubai for processing my work/residence permit visa.
Accordingly, when I contacted him via mail he says that I need to pay US $ 1850/- to process my papers or send him US $ 2950/- to process my and my family's visa
papers in the UAE.
After going through the advice given on this portal, I find this is also a fake one.
Can somebody advise me in this regard at the earliest?
You can use the job offer number to verify the validity of the application through the website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Inquiry Services – Application Status).
After you sign the job offer, your employer will send you an electronic entry permit for the purpose of work so that you can enter the country.
Dear,
As per UAE Law, no employer or company will ask their employees to pay for visa or recruitment costs.
It is the sole responsibility of your employer. If you receive a job offer without an interview, and they are telling you which travel agency to go to, and requiring you to pay visa costs or transfer to them money then such a job offer is a scam.
There have been many queries regarding the same company on this platform. Do not send them any money.
Kind regards,
KHA Advocates.
