How to make sure if a job offer is genuine or scam if they ask for visa costs?

I have got a job offer from an oil & gas and construction company LLC on their letterhead with some stamps as well.

They are asking me to contact a travel agency within 10 days for starting the traveling papers process.

Is this genuine? How do I check this?

Please clarify.

They are also stating that a 2-month salary will be paid before moving out from India as well.

Welcome,

We wish you a happy day.

You can use the job offer number to validate the application via the website of the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Inquiry Services – Application Status).

Ensure that the company has a legal presence and list. You can search for the company name in English and Arabic on the National Economic Register website, and get the company data.

Dear User,

Some things you should keep in mind. Do NOT send any documents or any money.

If they require you to pay visa fees or any fees such as for the work permit, then almost always it is a scam. The travel agency that they send you to may not always be legit.

Furthermore, we were not able to find the Trade License of such a company so it is highly possible it is not a registered company in Dubai, therefore it is not legit.

You may request them to send you a copy of their trade license to make sure, and that they cover all your visa fee costs just to make sure.

But from our experience, this does not seem to be a genuine offer.

Kind regards,
