How to transfer the assets of my brother to his family in India after his death?

My brother died in Sharjah due to a heart attack all of a sudden. His wife and 4-year-old daughter are in India.

Now his employer is asking for a court order to issue the end-of-service benefit. I have a PoA from his wife (issued from India in English).

Do we need to attest the English PoA from any department or do we need to translate it into Arabic?

Please help/suggest how to get a court order.

Thanks

We wish your brother forgiveness and patience.

It needs to be translated into Arabic and English together on the same paper and certified by a notary.

Dear,

Such documentation in the UAE must be officially translated into Arabic. You must first make sure:

(1) The POA is signed before the notary public in India.

(2) It is attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(3) Certify the POA by the UAE Embassy/Consulate in India.

Once this is done, you may go to the UAE and:

(1) Get a stamp from the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(2) Translate the document by legal translators who are authorized by the UAE Ministry of Justice.

(3) Needs to be stamped by the UAE Ministry of Justice to certify the Arabic translation.

Hello brother

It's better for you to open a file for inheritance in Sharjah court.

For more assistance, you can call me.

It's better for you for the end of service and other assets your brother has.

Also, maybe there is insurance on him, money in the bank, or cars to be under the wife's name.

Dear Questioner,

Good day!

With reference to your question, please be informed that any POA from India shall be notarized and to be attested by MEA, UAE Embassy/Consulate in India, and MOFAIC from UAE.

Further to these attestations, it shall be translated into Arabic by a sworn legal translator to be used in UAE.

We can assist you to complete these procedures, please share a copy of the POA with us.

For further assistance, kindly contact us by phone or email.

Best regards.

Hi,

Pursuant to your query, the POA needs to be attested at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in India and then attested by the UAE Embassy in India.

Then the original should be attested at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the UAE then you have to get it translated into Arabic.
