Health insurance for employees with family visas
Good Day,
Please, could you advise if as per the current UAE regulations in Dubai, is an Employer obliged to provide a Dubai Health Authority compliant health insurance to those employees in the company, who are holding ONLY work permits (labour cards) with the Employer?
These employees do have valid DHA compliant health insurances, issued by their main Sponsors (Spouses / Family Members).

I trust everything is going well on your side.
In regards to your query, I would like to suggest that as per UAE Labour Law it is a mandatory requirement for the Employer to provide their Employees with the health insurance, despite the fact that the employee is previously having health insurance from the spouses or family members.
