The eligibility to get a salary if the employee is asked to stay at home

Dear sir/madam,

I joined a new company in the UAE. One of my cards is still not approved to do work in a specific area so the company asks me to stay in a room after joining.

I am still waiting for more than 50 days and the company is not paying me a salary.

I asked them to give me work somewhere else and pay me, they are ask me to wait.

Can I get my salary legally for the period in which I'm staying in the room as per their instructions?

Dear questioner,

If you signed the labor contract or if you got the labor visa, you can ask them to pay the salary.

Thanks for responding!

Yes, I signed and my resident visa has also been done along Emirates ID.

I ask them to pay but they said that when they send you to the site then my timesheet will start.
