I have an outstanding loan and I want to negotiate with the bank to reduce the interest

Hi,

I have an outstanding loan of 150,000 in Dubai but I am no longer working in Dubai and currently looking for a job in my home country.

My intention is to pay the installment amount in a timely manner but I want the bank to decrease the interest charges.

Is it possible for the bank to do so?

Hi,

Yes, it is possible to negotiate with the bank to reduce the amount, and the banks are doing that these days.

Hi

Pursuant to your query, you have two options:

1. You contact the bank and negotiate with them giving your options to them

2. You appoint a lawyer to contact the bank and negotiate on your behalf.

In both cases, the bank needs to be notified about your willingness to pay the installment.

Good afternoon.

To answer your question:

It is possible for the bank to decrease interest charges and our office can help you with that. We are legal representatives who deal with financial (and legal) issues of individuals who are in and outside the UAE.

What we can do is to agree with the bank (on behalf of you) on a settlement or an installment plan that is suitable for you as a client of the bank.

Contact me on phone for more details.
