Settlement of a personal loan to avoid police case and travel ban

Dears,

I left the UAE last year in 2021 and now I have a personal loan debt of AED 15,000 as per the bank.

Now, I have received a court letter from Dubai Court with a travel ban to the country.

What will be the next process, please help as I would really want to avoid any travel ban and police case.

Dear U. N.,

If you reach the settlement with the bank and receive the clearance letter, the case will be closed and the travel ban will be waived.

Dear Maryam,

Thanks for your message.

The total loan amount was 154,500 out of which the outstanding is now 15,000.

Can I also ask the bank to give a good deal to close it with a lower amount so I will be able to get the clearance from RAK bank/

I hope the ban or police case will be lifted.

Please suggest.

You have all the rights to try and negotiate with the bank and once you do, and settle the payment, please make sure to get a clearance certificate, as the case was opened on the original loan amount + interest, which is as you mentioned 154,500 + the interest.

Dear Maryam,

Thanks.

I shall email the bank and negotiate with them and after payment will get the Clearance Certificate.

Does that mean that they will charge me 154,500 + Interest?

I have already paid everything except somewhere around this 15K.
