Providing forged documents is Fraud, providing correct documents with wrong information is Fraud, using any of the mentioned two is Fraud. So, you and your employer have - both - committed a crime. However, your crime is double because you asked for the wrong document, you submit it to a bank, you confirmed and signed that the information in it is correct. I estimate you are the one who asked your employer for the wrongful salary certificate and you are the one who used it to open a credit card with it knowing it was a wrong detail. The main question is what is your question? What do you want to do? Do you want to put yourself and your employer in legal exposure because your relationship is not good now? Think again :)

Fake university degrees

Q: Over 2 years ago I was awarded degrees from a university in the USA based on my experience. As the process continued I suspected they were fake so I tried to stop the process. In the last 2 weeks I am receiving calls from people claiming to be from Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Education in Abu Dhabi saying I am in trouble and the call always ends up with the university demanding money to complete the attestation process. I do not want these degrees and have never used them. If I report this to the UAE Authorities, will I get myself in trouble? I am worried.

Signing on blank papers

Q: Hello Sir, I went to apply for a free zone company in the UAE through an agent and formed it and will get my trade Licence tomorrow. However, the agent told me to sign four blank papers (plain white papers). He told he need them to apply for my visa and immigration card etc. etc. and I won't have to come to Ajman again. Attestation of a fake degree for the purpose of employment in the UAE

Q: A person living in Sharjah took the fake degree to the foreign office of Pakistan in Sharjah for attestation. All the attestation in Pakistan were forged, however, the foreign office in Sharjah only object the UAE embassy stamp, and handed over the person to Police. Then he was presented to the court. Now the court orders that person to present the duplicate degree with the original stamp of UAE embassy. The problem is that the degree is fake, how can a duplicate be obtained and how the original attestation can be done? Passport of the person is confiscated by the court. Any advice how can he be free. The person is not educated and he only did this act to obtain a good job, although the act cannot be excused whatsoever the reason was.

How can I reach a settlement with the bank for a mortgage of a jointly owned property?

I have a jointly owned property in Abu Dhabi. The mortgage was defaulted on as I had to leave the property with my children following an assault by my ex-husband. He left the country in 2018 and never paid the mortgage. As I was in the country, the bank filed a criminal case against me, and I was sentenced to 3 years. I won the appeal against the bank and then filed another criminal case a few months later in Dubai. Again, I won and paid a fine. In 2019, the bank started a civil case against me and my ex-husband to have the property repossessed. However, at the time of the purchase of the property, there were no Title Deeds, the bank requires this. I cannot give them the Title Deeds to sell the property and pay back the amount owed to them as my ex-husband refuses to provide a POA. The bank has filed another criminal case against me only for our jointly owned property. I wish to resolve this and pay off the bank and receive any money left from the sale. How can I resolve this issue of the Title Deeds?

Can a real estate agency hold a percentage of a property sale until transfer is done?

A real estate agency has signed an MOU stating that a 10% security deposit from the buyer and the seller will be kept in the real estate agency and will be released upon transferring the property. The transfer of the property was blocked due to the court order.
