Q: If we start the visa process with a company and then halfway through we decide to leave and go to another company, does the new company have to restart the visa process?
Or will the old company be able to hand over our visa to the new company?

I’m working in a private LLC in Sharjah.
I completed 6 months in my organization. Now I need to resign from my job due to personal reasons and I need to go back to my country.
I’m ready to serve a notice period. What if my employer asks for money as compensation for breaking the contract?
Please advise.
Thanks

Do I have to pay any charges to my employer if I resign during probation?
0
Q: Hi
I am an expatriate and I handed in my 30-day notice during my probation period with my current employer.
They have requested that my new employer pays the compensation for recruitment and visa costs due to the fact I am still in my probation period.
However, there are no stipulations in my contract about reimbursement of any costs undertaken by my new employer if I resigned during my probation.
I realize that under Article 9 Section 3 of the Federal Decree-Law No. (33) of 2021 On the Regulation of Labor Relations states that:
"... the new Employer shall undertake to compensate the current Employer for the costs of recruiting the Worker unless otherwise agreed."
However, I am wondering if this applies in my case if it has not been specified in my contract or any other documentation that I have signed.
Extra context, it is stated in the free zone employment handbook - but again this was not disclosed in any contract that both my current employer and I have signed.
Thank you.

Is it possible to resign from my job during probation if I am not happy at work?

1
Q: Hi,
I am working in a firm in Dubai for almost 3 months now. I have a probation period of 6 months as per my contract, however, I am currently not happy at the workplace. I am not under the company's visa.
If I quit during the probation period, not for any new employment right away, but just because I feel this is not the perfect job for me, what will be the consequences as per the UAE labor law?

Good evening,
I am working in the UAE Dubai, but I would like you to help me.
I am consulting about the visa cancellation. Is it possible to cancel my visa with my company and join another company within a period of six months?
And is there any money that is supposed to be paid?
Thank you.

What can I do if I resign during probation and the employer asks for compensation?

0
Q: Hi,
I am now serving my notice period in the company in my probation period.
However, they are asking me for a 7000 fee which I am not aware of. I was told that I agreed to this and signed the contract which is not true.
I repeatedly requested a copy of my contract for months, yet I have not received any.
Due to the lack of response, I checked the contract through the app and found that it was electronically signed.
I do not recall signing this contract, nor did I receive any digital copy to sign. What should I do?

I am forced to resign due to the ill treatment from the employer. Do I have to pay my visa costs?

1
Q: I'm in a free zone company. I started my employment in June 2024 and they gave me a visa in August 2024.
Now, I want to resign because my employer is always fighting with me. He said bad words to me and reduced my salary also from 3000 AED to 2500 AED because they said I was not doing my job well.
I said to them I wanted to resign, but they said if I resigned, I have to pay 10,000 AED for the visa cost as per my offer letter.
Help me with this, please
