Repercussions of resignation if my limited contract is terminated and kept with no contract

My employer terminated my DSO free zone limited contract on the last day of my probation via phone call and email, during the first COVID lockdown.

They asked me to remain at the company but go on an unlimited contract. I have never signed another contract. The end date of the original limited contract was 28.11.22.

I want to leave in the next two months, can I do so without paying a penalty to the company?

If the termination is from the owner of the company, you can leave without paying fines.

The termination email was from the owner but I didn’t actually leave. They called me to say we are terminating the contract because we want you to go on a different contract but I have never signed a new contract.

So I technically have been working for a year without a signed company contract and now I want to leave. Will there be repercussions?
