Q: I would like to ask a question regarding the probation period. I have joined the company last February 23, 2019, and planning to resign on end of May 30, 2019. I would like to know if this is still counted in the probation period and if not, do I need to pay any amount like visa even I was locally hired? Please let me know. Thank you!

Joining another company during probation

Q: I have signed a contract with an employer and also received the visa, but I have changed my mind and decided not to join the company due to the indecent behaviour of the employer. I did not join the company and I want to have my visa cancelled. I am ready to pay the visa expenditures incurred by the employer. What are your advice and suggestion? I may leave the country to take up a job in another country.

Resignation during probation period

Q: Good evening, Madam! I just wanted to ask if I can resign from my work as I'll complete 2 months on Sept. 1. I like my work but the problem is if I make some mistakes she's shouting at me in front of the customers and we are not getting any holidays here in Bahrain, only we get in the Philippines like Christmas, new year and labor day and we are working 11 hours every day.

Hello, I'm interested in knowing what are the legal requirements for selling homemade natural skincare products online like Instagram, Facebook or Tiktok? If it is run by one person (Bahraini), is virtual CR required for it? Also, if I plan to make private label natural skincare products by using my brand name for selling online or in the market later, do I need to register my products for it & from where? Apart from this, what would be the other legal requirements for it? I'm also unfamiliar with going about these entire procedures & the costs needed for registeration, etc. Please advise. Thank you!

I left my work and my employer did not pay my indemnity. How to claim that?

Dear professionals, I have completed 2 years and 3 months in Bahrain. My employer has refused to provide me with my indemnity and leave salary as well as an air ticket. Kindly let me know as my visa is canceled and there are only 10 days to leave Bahrain. what is the procedure to file a lawsuit for the same? Can it be done from my country locally or do I have to be physically present in Bahrain??
