Q: I have some credit card defaults and I went to prosecution and cleared the bounced cheque with fine payment 2 years back. Now collections agency is mailing to HR, threatening via Whatsapp & phone calls.
The bounced cheque amount was 55K. Now the agency is asking nearly 300k. I understand the civil liability but what is the way out of this? Can they file a civil case and make a travel ban?

Lifting a travel ban in credit card case by the bank
0
Q: Dear Tony,
My friend was working in the UAE and had to leave in 2009 as he lost his job during the recession. He had a credit card payment of approximately AED 14000 in total with 3 different banks.
Now, he intends to come back to the UAE. I believe there is a police case and he will have to pay some court fine. We need help in identifying where is the police case logged.
How we can we pay the court fine and get the police clearance certificate and remove any kind of travel ban so that he can travel freely without any issues?
Regards
A.

Clearance of a pending debt and returning to the UAE

12
Q: I am a US citizen with a sizable debt in the UAE after leaving for health reasons. I sustained an injury that required rehabilitation. I do not like how I left the UAE. It eats me up inside.
I miss my brothers/friends in the region. I wish to return to fulfil my obligations. Under fear of arrest, I can not dream of the UAE as home anymore.
However, if I were to be given another chance for employment in Dubai, could I renegotiate new loan terms that would allow me to return?
Thus paying my obligatory debt and satisfying my passion to do what is right?
Thank you in advance.
My salary in the UAE was substantial at over 47k/monthly. The new contract would be more.
Give me some choices on what I should consider.

How to come back to Dubai after deportation and ban for visa overstay?
5
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
My wife was working in the UAE from 2016 to 2018 and completely finished her contract. She got the cancelation of the papers from the company then she moved to another company.
But the new company visa process got late from the date of the paper cancelation. So it expired and she did not exit the country at that time for more than 1 month.
She went to her home country and she faced immigration at Dubai airport. They deported her for absconding and gave her an immigration ban. I tried in 2021 to get her a visit visa but that was also rejected.
My question is how to come again to Dubai?
Any possibility to check that at immigration?

How can I modify the custody agreement and enforce my parental rights? 0
As-Salaam-Alaikum everyone,
Please advise me on where I can find an affordable family lawyer. I'm only earning less than 5k AED monthly.
I really want to apply for modification of the agreement for my 3-year-old daughter, but my ex-wife is not responding or cooperating, assuming she wants to retain the current agreement for 3 hours per week.
I want to enforce my role as a guardian of my child and modify the agreement for more time and to be more included in the decision-making for her well-being.

Do I have to pay a penalty if terminated after completing my contract period? 0
Sir,
As per my contract period, they mentioned that if I leave the company before 1 year, I have to pay 5000 dirhams. But I have already completed more than 1 year and 3 months.
The company has given me a warning letter saying my work performance is low, and if I continue like this, they will terminate me. They didn't mention any charges, but they mentioned in the letter a top penalty procedure.
So I need to know whether I have to pay them any charges or not.
