Labor regulations for a UAE employee working in another country

1
Q: Hi,
I need some help in understanding Dubai employment laws in hiring expatriates. We are an Indian based parent company, and we have a legal subsidiary in Dubai.
Lately, we are exploring the South African market and we would like to hire a local person in South Africa. However, We don’t have a legal entity in South Africa.
We are exploring an option where an employee can be governed by Dubai payroll but he/ she will be delegated to South Africa (Employee will get benefited in this case as he/ she gets ESOPS/ RSUS as we have a legal entity here in Dubai).
I have following questions:
Is it a smooth option to explore? (If we want to make a South African national as Dubai entity employee but delegated to South Africa).
What's the detailed process to put him/ her on the payroll (Visa, registration...etc.).
I highly appreciate your inputs in this regard.

Making an agreement between a company in the UAE and employees in other countries

4
Q: I am restless about getting an answer to the following question:
We have an FZE Company based in Dubai, and we want to employ 3 people in Egypt (the company does not have a branch or affiliate there).
What sort of agreement can I get between the company in Dubai and the person in Egypt?
Is it an employment agreement referring to Dubai Labor Law?
Is it a services agreement as a freelancer referring to Dubai rules & regulations about contracts?
Are there any taxes the person shall pay in Egypt if we do any of the above-mentioned agreements?
I really appreciate your help in advance!

Is the commision paid to employees included in the VAT system?
2
Q: I work for a UAE-based broker, and we earn commission from our agents (employees) introducing and recommending clients to a provider.
Once the client transacts with the provider, we (the company) get paid a commission. I understand that commission received by the company is subject to VAT due to the service provided.
Our employees are paid both a salary and commission, and commission payments are directly related to the clients they (the employees) have introduced to the provider.
Should we be applying input VAT to the commission paid to agents?
It is considered a sales expenses and considered an operating expense on the income statement.
I appreciate any help you can provide.

We have remote workers based outside of the UAE. They abide by a contract with us, but not under the company's visa.
As per UAE labor law, are we obliged to pay gratuity to them, if nothing was specified in the offer letter or contract?

How can victims file a group case for fraud, bounced cheques, and misuse of credit cards? 0
Hello,
I would like to ask for legal advice regarding a fraud case in Abu Dhabi involving multiple victims. The suspect issued bounced cheques, received AED with a promise to exchange it into IDR but failed to deliver, misused other people’s credit cards, and operated an unlicensed travel/tour business.
Many clients paid for Umrah or vacation packages that never happened. The total loss is significant, and many victims have evidence such as WhatsApp chats, bank transfers, and bounced cheques.
We believe this involves a breach of trust and embezzlement. We would like to know if we can file a group case, what legal steps to take, and the cost of legal representation.
Thank you!
