Q: Suppose the employer finds out that the employee has been contacting his clients, and selling vendor products to such clients and accepting money. This has been captured in a CCTV footage, submitted to the police and the case is being under investigation. Now, the employee does not report to work and files a case in the MOL for overtime and not salary, as the salary is paid on time and payslips are signed by the employee. Since based on the final judgement, all the benefits for the employee may be nullified as per article 4 of the preamble, can the employer request the MOL to defer the hearing in the case till a final judgement is received in the police case? Pleases advise if any other means can be taken.

Q: Hi, I need advice. I have been working for the last 30 years, and the last 10 years were with one company. I have received termination stating harassment while requesting for a face to face check with the people, facts were not disclosed. Now, they have informed me that they'll detain my gratuity amount which I feel I deserve. Harassment case - it was a complaint raised by few colleagues stating improper touching, which was not the actual case. Hence, received a termination for the same. Never given a chance to speak. However, I have not been such a person and have not done such a thing in overall 30 years of service. Now, gratuity has been held considering the harassment clause.

Q: My brother in law is in jail for taking AED 12 million from his company and he is in jail (Abu Dhabi, UAE) under remand. I don't know whether he had taken the money or not, but his employer is saying he had taken it and given him a confession letter. I don't know about the confession they took. Q: Hi, I was terminated from my current job in Nakheel PJSC on 19-6-18. In the termination letter, they mentioned the reason as "dismissed without notice for Gross Misconduct in accordance with employee regulations manual (Chapter C - Section 23) and as per UAE Labor Law Article 120" with immediate effects. They also said verbally that the company will not pay me my end of service benefit amount. My question is, can the company hold this amount? Can I claim it legally from the company? Please advise. Q: The possible way to cancel my visa. Hi Sir/Ma'am, I was terminated from my company on the accusation of theft. My company said that they have a CCTV footage which they did not present during the committee meeting on 03 Jan. There was no money or goods retrieved from me by my company security. My company kept me suspended until the 10th of March and handed me the termination letter, which states that I am terminated from the 03rd of Jan. What are my chances on this? I am so confused right now and I really need help. It's been 4 months until now I'm still waiting for their decision.
