Q: Dear Sir/Ma'am, I'm an accused in a theft case at my workstation. The amount stolen was 7000 AED. I surrendered, confessed, and agreed to pay the entire amount immediately to my employer. However, he still called the police and filed a case. At the same time, the police recovered the entire 7000 AED from me, but my boss was still not ready to drop the case. After a few days, he somehow agreed to an out-of-court settlement, demanding 10000 AED. We agreed to it and, in return, requested him to withdraw the case. We paid him the amount, and he got a letter from the typing center to withdraw the case. When he went to the police, they said the file had already been moved to the prosecutor. We went to the prosecutor, and they said the file had been moved to them, but they hadn't registered the case in their system yet. Now the prosecutor doesn't want to drop the case, as he wants legal action to be taken against me. Please assist with how to withdraw this case from the prosecutor.
