The legal way of notifying the tenant about rent increase

I am a landlord. Can the rent increase notice be sent by email to the tenant?

If the tenant does not agree to the rent increase, will this notice be enough to file in RERA?

Hi,

If the notice sent on the registered email of the tenant within the notice period mentioned in the agreement prior to the expiry and within the RERA rent calculator rate, it will be accepted.

If it's not within the RERA rent calculator and it's higher, will RERA decide on the max increase or will the rent stay the same?
