Visa cancelation by an employer while an employee's dues are not settled
Hello Sir,
I have worked for a company for 4 years and 4 months on an unlimited contract and resigned after serving a notice period of one month as the employer was not paying me the salary properly for almost a year.
Now, he hasn't settled my EOSB, pending salary but canceled the visa.
How can I claim my dues?

Dear questioner,
We are a law firm working in the UAE since 2008 and we are pleased to assist you on this UAE labor law matter.
Referring to your questions, it seems that, by not paying you the salary for one year even on an irregular basis, it constitutes a UAE labor law of 1980 violation.
It would have been the best scenario if you had filed a formal complaint with the ministry of Labor [Ministry of human resources] in the UAE to settle this issue at that time.
However, albeit, we had not reviewed your employment contract, but keeping in mind the above facts mentioned by you, the employer is violating the law and you can claim your pending salary and end of the term benefits as well.
You may file a complaint before the ministry of human resources and Emiratization UAE or contact us for further legal assistance.
Best Wishes,
