Is it recommended to file a case against previous employer after transferring visa?
Good Evening
I had been terminated recently but my employer is refusing to pay my outstanding salaries & End Of Service Benefits.
I had raised a labour complaint that had been transferred to court. I have an appointment on 12th January 2021 with ENJAZ to file the case.
Now I have another job offer and I must cancel my visa to obtain a new work permit within a short span of time else I will lose this job opportunity. So I am thinking to drop the case at the moment and grab a new job first.
My question is that can I withdraw my complaint as the case is still not filed in court? If so, then what is the procedure?
Secondly, can I raise the complaint again against the previous employer after I settle in the new job?
Thank you
Dear Questioner,
Absolutely, you have legal right to dismiss the complaint and reopen it further.
But what we recommend you to do is that you can keep your complaint ongoing, and issue work permit from the court in order to join your new job.
So if you did that you will not lose any chance for a new job or suing your former company.
Should you have any further inquiry, please do not hesitate to contact us on the phone or email.
Good luck.

We suggest you keep your complaint ongoing, or you might lose your outstanding payments from your ex-employer.
