Obtaining a temporary work permit during a labour case
Good afternoon,
How soon can I request a letter from Dubai Court to cancel my existing residence visa or issue a temporary visa if I have filed for a labour case against my employer?
The case is for the non-payment of my end of service benefits as I have an offer from another company and can't join them without cancellation from the Immigration and Labor Department.
Dear Questioner,
With reference to your inquiry, kindly be informed that as per the given info, you shall apply for a Temporary Work Permit, and join the new employer at the same time of following up on your labour case filed against your ex-employer.
Its duration is six months, renewable for a similar period(s) till your case is over.
Upon having a final judgment in the said labour case, you can cancel your visa by your own self without the need for the presence of your ex-employer's PRO.
