Claiming labour dues and pending salaries after resignation

Hi Hayyan,

Good Evening.

Hope you are doing good and staying safe.

I am G. S., an ex-employee of [------] LLC, an affiliate of [-----] LLC. I have been associated with the company for the past 4 years, and finally resigned as the company was not paying me since March 2020.

I have finally got my visa cancelled as I had got a new job offer from another company. The reason which the company gave me is that I was working for one of the group companies, which was mapped as my cost centre by the company.

My Offer Letter, Clearance Letter is from the mother company- as they were the one who issued me an offer 4 years back and gave me the visa of the affiliate.

I have my pending dues/EOSB with the company and have to start the legal process, as they have not paid me.

So, I need to put a legal case of mental/moral harassment which my family has gone through because of all this and get my money back from the company.

Hi G.,

I trust you are well.

Firstly, thank you for your inquiry. We will be happy to assist you through this process.

Unfortunately, outstanding salaries are a common practice within the industry and need to be corrected through legal action. In these types of cases, we usually represent the client and issue a legal notice to the company.

Through the legal notice, the company is notified of its breaches as per the regulations of the contract as well as UAE labour laws. Prior to initiating a case, the best way forward will be to approach for a settlement.

If we proceed with case filing, the process will be extended and you may incur additional costs as court and administrative fees.

What you can do is share your employment contract with us so that we can determine the amount that needs to be paid to you by the company, along with other relevant details.

For drafting and issuing the legal notice, along with direct correspondence with your previous employer, we will charge a one-time fixed fee of AED 3,000.

For further information please contact us at our email.
