Now she wants to get/transfer her husband's bank account to some Dubai bank to her name or withdraw money. As I understand from previous posts, these are the steps she needs to follow: 1- Get death certificate from Pakistan. Should it be attested from Islamabad UAE embassy or can it be attested in the UAE itself? 2- Get a Legal Heir Certificate from Dubai courts as there is no WILL made by her husband. Is the death certificate only required to apply for this certificate? 3- Should the above 2 documents be presented to the bank to get the account access? Q: Hi, I want to sell my father's car because he can't come to the UAE due to COVID-19 situation and visa issues for Pakistan. I have tried to get a power of attorney from Pakistan. It just keeps delaying. I don't know what's the issue there but till now it's not happening. For attestation, the authorities are asking to send the documents through TCS (A Pakistan Courier company). Due to which, I am looking if there could be any other way here in the UAE by which I could be able to sell or gain ownership for my father's asset.
