Termination of unlimited employment contract during a probation period

I have an unlimited contract with the employer and I have not completed the probation.

Can I leave the company without notice or do I have to give notice, and can they ban me from working after that or not?

According to the labour legislation of the UAE, an employee gets banned when he or she terminates an unlimited labour contract before completing one year of service.

Effective January 2016, there is no six-month ban if services are terminated by mutual agreement between the employer and employee and certain other set conditions are met.

Yet leaving the company before probation period is completed without giving a notice to the employer will cause you problems when re-entering the country.

For more detailed information and for developing any possible ways of resolving the situation with minimum negative legal consequences for you the employment agreement has to be examined.
