Q: We are a software company who have signed a contract with a client. The contract expired in Nov. 2015. We continued to work with the client on the project. They also specify the country of origin is Dubai and the product is from the USA. And when I made the order in the special request I mentioned I need a 64 GB Phone and they sent me a 32 GB phone. The website www.dubaiphonestores.com is registered in an Indian address and they are operating from Dubai. How can I legally fight with them with UAE laws?

Q: I was staying in Abu Dhabi and got a job in Dubai, and I had to hire a car lift service from an online company website. I gave one month cash as per their suggestion and it was a bank transfer. I have their company invoice, and I have all the chat. After giving 10 days service, they stopped. I contacted the company and they said they will refund within 15 days. Now, they aren't giving.

The Law sets up the legal framework for the protection of consumer rights in the UAE. The Law establishes the Higher Committee for Consumer Protection and the Consumer Protection Department, and sets up the fines for breach of its provisions.
