Q: Hi,
Good eve, Madam.
I have a query regarding EOSB. I resigned from my previous company and my EOSB was held by the bank due to my existing loan until I can provide them with new documents for my current job.
Let's make things short. I provide them with a new visa and salary transfer letter addressed to the bank.
Unfortunately, upon presenting all the documents, they informed me that the new company is not listed in the bank.
Do the bank have the right to use my EOSB to adjust my remaining loan?

The bank holds the EOSB after changing administration despite paying instalments on time

Q: Hi,
I would like to ask for advice.
I worked in a semi-government laboratory here in the UAE.
Recently, it was acquired by another government entity and our end-of-service benefits were credited to my bank of which I have a loan and credit card. The EOSB was held by the bank.
I have never missed any installment as my salary is also remitted in the same bank. I submitted all the documents required. I have no changes in my salary and benefits with the present employment.
What remedy can I avail for the bank to release my EOSB?
I already contacted them about this but the customer service is always telling me to wait for the call of the concerned department, which I have not received until today.
Thank you.

Can the bank still hold the EOSB even after providing documents of the new job?
1
Q: I have been regularly paying my monthly installments until I lost my job and I know that the bank will deduct the amount from my EOSB until I get a new job.
When I got my new job and processed all the documents like my visa and EID, I immediately submitted them to the bank along with my salary certificate which shows that I have the same salary from my previous employment and the same amount was used as the basis when the bank approved my loan.
So basically, I will be able to pay the same EMI. I have been going to the bank several times to check the status of my request for the release of the EOSB and each time I go, they have different statements.
Finally, I got a call and the bank says they won't release it as it has to be partially used as a payment for my loan. What can I do?

It's been 4 months now and my new salary is transferred to them and I never defaulted on a payment. what to do?
Noting that my new salary is higher than the old one but the bank is claiming that my new company is not registered with them and rejecting to release the amounts.
P.S. The original loan amount is 550K (including interest) balance amount to be paid is 380 K and my EOS is 195K.

If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country? 0
Hi.
One of my friends joined a Telegram group. They said, "We will transfer some amount to your account, and your task is to transfer this amount to another account. Once the task is completed, you will get 30 or 50 AED per task."
He completed 3 to 4 tasks, but he realized it was not good, so he stopped. After one week, when he opened his account, it was blocked, and the bank said, "We are conducting an investigation; after this, we will let you know."
After some days, he had an accident and went to his home country. He then received a call from a landline number, which was from the Abu Dhabi police station.
They said, "We have received a complaint against you; come to our investigation department." However, due to his surgery and treatment, he could not go.
After some time, his bank account was reopened, and he did not receive any further calls. I want to know, if he comes back to the UAE or goes to any other GCC country, will he face any problems?
If someone has a case in the UAE, can they travel to another GCC country?
Please advise!

I currently live in Sharjah and have a UAE residence visa but I am not a UAE or GCC national. I want to open an online shop (Etsy or Shopify) to sell handmade items, such as crocheted goods, bookmarks, greeting cards, etc.
Do I need a license to open an Etsy shop?
If so, which license do I need to sell my products online, including UAE and worldwide?
How much would it cost me?

How can we locate a person with an ongoing legal case? 0
Hello,
I am seeking your legal advice regarding a friend who was previously imprisoned in Abu Dhabi. His case there is now closed, but he has another ongoing case in Dubai.
Currently, we have lost contact with him and are unsure of his whereabouts. How can we check where he is or access any other legal facility?
Are there legal procedures to locate a person with an ongoing case?
What steps should we take to get more information about his status and legal position?
