The dealer told me to give the car to the garage, so they took the car and said a new screen is needed and they made me pay AED 1000 even though it was not my fault. I even paid to have the car delivered there but I paid out of the goodness of my heart. Next month it started dying randomly and would need jump-starts. Now it dies every day after a jump start. Now they are saying to me I need to pay for another fix! Please can someone tell me what to do? Is there any legal way they can take the car back and pay the bank back the money they took?

Q: Good morning, I had an issue with my car Audi A3 when it gave a signal of gearbox malfunction. This happened during the warranty and it read you can continue driving. I informed the service advisor of the same which they said it should be some system error and nothing to worry about. It was not even mentioned in the service history. The next time I got the same error signal was 1 day before the warranty ended and I took the car to repair after the warranty as I thought again it is a system error. This time they said the mechatronics of the car is spoilt and to replace it will cost 17000. I informed them that this happened during the warranty and should be repaired under warranty. They said it was given after the warranty so they cannot consider. I repaired the car as I was scared it would breakdown any time. Can I fight a case against this as they did not provide proper details which could've alerted me to submit the car under warranty?

Q: I purchased a new vehicle from an authorized dealer in Abu Dhabi. When the car was delivered to me I noticed 6 defects. The salesman agreed, we sent the car back and it arrived again 4 days later they did they had fixed everything. It still has one significant problem, vibrations when driving. The salesman agreed that this was a problem, he sent it back and this time they said it was a problem with tyres and they would fix it. After 10 more days they replaced the tyres. When we received the car the third time, there was still the same problem, we spoke to the sales manager, he test drove and agreed. However the next day he said the service manager had now tested it and the car was fine and we must take as it is. We asked for a refund or replacement and they said we must pay AED 10000 in depreciation. What are our options?

Q: I bought a car from a Dubai dealer in November 2020 and in July 2021 (less than a year) the engine of the car stopped working. When the dealer removed the engine from the car to see what happened, he realized that the engine has already been repaired before with non-original pieces.
