Breach of tenant's privacy
2
Q: (If) I took a picture of my tenant's living room and posted it on a property website to rent the property, as we've agreed with the tenant that he vacates the property at the end of the year. Then he found out about the advertisement on the property website in the remaining 3 months before the end of the contract (we have posted the advertisement with the picture of the living room) and informed me to remove it from the website. I removed it immediately, but he has printed out the advertisement with his living room pictures. Now he is saying that if I made any issues to him as a tenant or deny his demands or do not renew his contract or increase the rent he will file a case in the police for the privacy breach. Please note that this was not intentional and it was a mistake without knowing the laws about these things.Q: How long does a person have the time to file for a privacy breach until it's considered invalid or it's long overdue or something similar? Kindly advice. Thank you.

Notice period for non-renewal of Tenancy contract
18
Q: I am staying in the apartment since 2 years. My tenancy contract expires on 15th of June. I informed the landlord via email 1 month in advance, that I don't wish to continue the contract and will leave the flat.
The landlord is now saying that we should have informed him 60 days in advance and is demanding for an extra 30 days rent.
Is this a valid claim? Do I need to pay extra post my tenancy contract getting over?
Kindly advise.

The notice period the landlord needs to provide for eviction to renovate a villa

2
Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
I have a question about rental renewal and would appreciate your response. The landlord did not give us any notice of rent increase or renewal before the 90-day expiration of the contract.
However, I gave the landlord written intent-to-renew notice by email before 60 days of the rental expiration.
They explained on the phone that they would like to renovate the villa and therefore will not be renewing the rental contract.
Can you please confirm what is the minimum notice period that the landlord needs to provide for eviction if they want to renovate the villa?
And can they refuse to renew the contract even though they did not serve the notice 90 days before the expiration of the contract?

Liability for the unpaid loan 0
I was jailed for 4 months for not being able to pay a loan from a Dubai bank since I've lost my job in 2011.
After my release, I tried looking for a job but was unsuccessful, so I went back to my home country when my visa expired but still the bank is sending emails and threatening me and wants to collect money from me.
Now that I am back here in Dubai, they threatened to file a ban against me and told me that I cannot get my visa renewed if I will not pay them.
Can the bank do such THING? I already have accepted the punishment of serving jail time since during that time I didn't have a JOB and was totally broke. What can I do so that they will stop harassing me?
What does the law say if someone had served the sentence for a bouncing check case?
Thanks and hoping to be enlightened.

View allLiquidation of a company in Ajman Free Zone 0
Dear Sir/ Madam,
I am a 50% shareholder in an Ajman Free Zone Company. I would like to cancel the licence and close the company as it's contracts have expired.
The company has no outstanding debts and owes no money to any third parties. However, it does have some small internal loans taken by directors.
In this instance, can the company be closed if an arrangement between directors is agreed to and formally documented?
