There are dozens of reasons why a person would be deported from the UAE including but not limited to committing a crime, abusing drugs, selling drugs, prostitution, etc. also for health and medical reasons etc.As for a flight layover or a transit, if the person is deported and banned from entering the country, he can still do layovers, however, if there is any sort of checking in, it will not be possible for him to enter the country.Depending on the reason for deportation, I can advise whether it is possible to enter the country again or not.
