The impact of old TB scars on issuing a work visa

Q: Dear Mr ElKhatib,
I am an assistant professor working currently in the United Kingdom. I suffered pulmonary TB 15 years ago (2003) and received all necessary medications.
I have some scars in my right lung; however, I worked before in the USA, Germany, Japan, and other countries.
Now, I have an offer from a university in Abu Dhabi but still worry about accepting it because I will resign from my job in the UK.
Do these scars make me unfit? Is there any solution for this problem?
Many thanks

Is there any way to get a temporary entry permit to the UAE after being deported?

Q: Hello Madam,
I am from Kerala, India. I had been deported from the UAE in 2005 because I absconded from my employer and worked outside. Is there any way to get an entry permit to the UAE?
I am working with an oil company that has its office in Dubai and they are supposed to send me to the UAE for some training. In 2018, the company sent me there and I was sent back immediately from the airport.
Please help me with some solution.

Staying in Dubai despite being declared medically unfit for an employment visa

Q: Dear Sir/Madam,
This is the first time I have received my employment visa. However, after the medical examination, I was declared medically unfit.
Could you please advise me on what to do next so that I don't have to leave Dubai and can stay here?
Is it possible for me to undergo treatment and obtain a medical fitness certificate, which would enable me to apply for a visa again?

How can I get a UAE visa for my mother to the UAE if she has scars on lungs from TB?

1
Q: Good morning Sir,
Actually, I tried to take a partner visa for my mother since I didn’t meet the criteria to sponsor her. Unfortunately, she didn’t pass the medical test and was deemed unfit.
We went for a second medical test all tests were negative but she still didn’t pass due to the scars on her lungs and we were forced to cancel her visa with a permanent ban and send her back to India.
Since I am the only child and there’s nobody else to look after her coz my father already passed away in August last year. Is there any way possible to bring her back?
I tried to take a visit visa but got rejected. So kindly advise me on what can be done or where to apply!

After 11 months of work, how many leave days is an employee entitled to? 0
Hello,
I want to inquire regarding my leave privileges. I am now 11 months in my company. How many leaves am I privileged to?
Based on Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 regulating labour relations and its executive regulations, you are entitled to a paid weekly rest for not less than one day, as specified in the work contract or the work regulation.
The Council of Ministers may increase the weekly rest day stipulated in this article. The Decree-Law and its executive regulations also stipulate that you are entitled to an annual leave with full pay as follows:
- Thirty days for each year of your extended service.
- Two days per month in respect of any employee with more than six months and less than one year of service.
- Leave for parts of the last year of your service in case it is terminated before you use your annual leave balance.
Now my question is: do I have 22 days I can use? Can someone explain to me in detail?
Thank you!

What can I do if my neighbors are constantly doing construction work and constantly drilling? 0
I live in a townhouse with a shared wall with my neighbors. They are constantly doing construction work and constantly drilling on the shared wall.
They said it will last for 2 months, working 6 days a week. It is driving us crazy, and there is no way to live this way, and I have to work from home.
I am very stressed. What is the immediate solution, please?

Can I keep my daughter's physical Emirates ID with me? I already provided the digital copy to the custodian, my ex-wife.
Or should I hand it over to her?
