The penalty for overstay after visa cancellation

Dear Questioner,

Please note that from the date your Visa is cancelled you have only 28 days to exit the country. Not 30 days as it is widely communicated.

In case you overstay beyond the 28 days, the Immigration Department will start applying a daily penalty that has to be fully paid at the time of exit or at the time you find another job and apply for a new residency and working permit “Visa”.
