My company doesn't pay me for few months. Can I work for another company?

Hi Sir,

Currently, I am working in one construction company, but they didn't pay me last four months, that's why I got an offer from another company.

Can I join them immediately? Will this make some issue on me? Should my company give me NOC?

Dear Questioner,

You may file a complaint to MOHRE (Ministry of Human Resources & Emiratisation) for the non-payment of salary and request the immediate termination of your employment contract.

Remain sponsored by the construction company until they pay your dues and request a NOC from the Labour Court to work with the new company.
