Settlement of credit card overdues after termination from the job

The bank or credit card company is likely to send you reminders and you will receive phone calls from the bank asking you to settle all overdue.

There is a procedure within all the UAE banks where your final salary will be frozen by the bank and used to settle all liabilities.

If your credit card was not taken out with that particular bank where your salary is paid into, the matter will be referred to the legal department of the bank where the card was issued.

Legal action will be taken and the bank may place a travel ban on you.
