Bounced cheque for credit card and possible travel ban

Hi Sir,

Good Morning,

I got a credit card cheque bounce of 10,000.00 recently, but after that, I did not receive any call from court or police team for legal procedures and penalty.

Will the cheque bounce lead to a travel ban or they have to file a case against it first?

Kindly advise.

Dear Questioner,

The bank needs first to file a case against you in the police station.

After the case is filed against you, the police officers will do their own research and possibly call you to go to the police and submit your statement.

In order to avoid any ban against you, I suggest you negotiate the matter with the bank and maybe to pay the difference amount in monthly instalments.

Best regards,

Raluca Gatina

Madam

Right now I don’t have a travel ban

I am just asking you whether the cheque bounce only will lead to a ban or they have to file a case against this bounced cheque?

Dear Questioner,

The bounced cheque needs to be submitted to the police together with a request letter otherwise it will not lead to any ban against you.
