Obtaining a new visa while a labor case is running

Q: Dear sir/madam, I filed a case against my employer on Apr-21 for arbitrary dismissal. I won the case in the first court and second court. Even the report from the expert appointed by the court was in my favor. I filed for execution which was appealed by my employer, but they lost the appeal as well. During Jul-21, I obtained NOC from the court to work elsewhere (my wife’s company) and got a 1-year temporary work permit to work during this time. The employer has further appealed to the supreme court on Apr-22. My questions are: 1. My visa is expiring in Jun-22 and I want to travel in Jul-22. I am afraid the judgment may not come until then. I want to cancel my current visa and obtain another visa (under my wife's sponsorship as she holds Golden Visa). What is the procedure for cancellation? And will it have any adverse impact on my case or new visa application? 2. Will the employer be liable to pay the execution order amount as they have lost the appeal? Many thanks in advance!

Q: Dear sir/madam, I have a civil case and a travel ban. The court hearing and judgment have not yet happened. I am currently on a tourist visa and I can't renew it due to the travel ban. I have a job offer and now my question is: Will this active civil case affect my new job visa process? My bank loan due is nearly 84000 AED.

Ministerial Decree No. (766) of 2015 On Rules and Conditions for Granting a Permit to a Worker for Employment by a New Employer

By this Decree Ministry of Labour of the UAE has removed the six-month labour ban for those who changed the job before completing two years of service. Labour ban will be still applicable for workers that qualify for skill level 4 and 5 under various circumstances.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am currently involved in a court case against a developer who failed to fulfill his obligations under our contract. My lawyer filed the lawsuit at the beginning of the case, claiming the return of the amounts I paid. Later, the court appointed an expert. The expert has now issued his report and concluded that the developer owes me a much higher amount than what was originally claimed by my lawyer, as the expert also included items such as lost profit and other damages. I am confused and would like your guidance: in my situation, will the court’s decision be based on the expert’s report, or only on the lower amount requested by my lawyer in the lawsuit? How to enforce a catch order on a tenant back in Dubai despite a travel ban?

Good morning, I am a landlord in a case against my tenant, who has been evicted due to non-payment of rent. The court has already issued the eviction order and provided me with a list of the tenant’s furniture. I also applied for a travel ban and license blocks against the tenant. Hello, Someone snitched, and the FTA (Federal Tax Authority) came to my factory and seized goods with unpaid tax. They seized the goods and imposed a tax penalty and fine of 1.2 million. The Police Headquarters also conducted an inquiry and let me go. Now, if I pay the tax and fine, will my liability be cleared and the travel ban removed, as the travel ban is from the Police Headquarters?

Do I need a UAE freelancer permit to work with US clients and receive payments in the UAE?

During my free time, I have tried providing Project Management Consultation to clients in the USA as a freelancer on UpWork (an Online Freelancing platform) and have seen good traction. Is it normal for an agency to charge a 5% commission on the total rent for a 3-year lease?
