Fake job offer and labour ban upon resignation
Q: Dear Miss, I am currently in Pakistan. I have received an offer letter from a company in the UAE through a recruiting agent, my question is that is there any way to confirm whether the offer letter is issued by the company or it is fake? Also please confirm if I get this job of an accountant in the UAE, can I change my employer during two years contract period as I have heard that there is no ban on accountants. Can I reject a job offer after signing the MOL offer letter?
Q: After getting an offer letter from a company, I was called on 3 months tourist visa to the UAE. I went there as the offer was very good then after 10 days they took my signature and thumb impression on MOL offer letter and they said they will apply for my visa. But it`s almost a month, they never came back and I decided to inform them and I left the country. In the meantime, I got another offer letter from a different company and then they sent me MOL offer letter and then told me to wait for 10 days for complete process. Now after googling I can find out the first company contract can be seen online at MOL website. Will this impact the new employer for MOL approval? Note my first company have not applied for an entry permit or status changed as they have not taken my degree mark-sheet attested. أسئلة وأجوبة

Procedure of reclaiming a debt through DIFC arbitration
Q: I am a private investor (individual) and I have a lending contract with a Sharjah FZE company represented by its director and shareholder, who also has other Dubai based company. Returning the payments wasn`t met despite reminders and extensions. The contract has a late-payment penalty clause and dues are well above the original amount. The issuing bank (balance verification check) informed me that the security cheques were also invalid, as that the account had already been closed prior to issuing the cheques. The contract has a DIFC arbitration clause and UAE jurisdiction. The cheques are not formally cashed yet. What are my options to pursue civil litigation or other debt-recovery means? Arbitration? DIFC SCT? DIFC CFI? Dubai Courts? Current dues are in the range of US$100,000/- including ongoing penalties. I have a signed and stamped original contract, witness IDs, trade license and original security cheques. Q: We`ve been in a situation with another driver at the mall parking. While driving past us, she drove her car to block us. When we got out of the car, she was very angry with us. First, she was accusing us of saying the F word to her while we were in the car (We did not). Then she said that my wife was giving her the middle finger (Again, my wife did not). She was simply reaching out to wear the car seat belt.). No matter how much we tried to explain or calm her down, she insisted that she would report to the police. She then took our car plate no. and drove off. We`re 100% sure that we didn`t do any of the things she said. However, we`re not sure if that corner of the mall has a camera to prove our innocence. How to know if a job offer is real or scam?
Q: Hey there. A company called A VISUAL DESIGN LLC wants me for a job, but they said that the new international artists working remotely from outside the UAE are not yet processed with ADC. In other words, freelance graphic artists, designers and animators must transfer USD 58.00 to the company in-house agents via the Western Union, in order to receive their incentive package and official terms of agreement via courier service. Is there a fee to cover Arabic translation and notary costs of the employment contract?
