No response deadline from judge for husband on maintenance request. What now?
Q: Dear Sir/Madam, I had submitted an urgent request through the Al Adheed Centre to seek alimony/maintenance from my husband for the expenses of myself and my son. Our court case has been ongoing for a while, and we are not currently living together. As of now, my husband has not been providing any maintenance. Today, the judgment was delivered, and the judge stated, "The person against whom the claim is made shall be notified for comment" (يخطر المعروض ضده للتعقيب). What does this mean? Additionally, the judge did not specify a date for my husband to submit a response or make payments. Please advise!
